199 log
Log of 1997 updates at Phil Johnson's Web site.

===============

FOR THE WEEKS ENDING 27 December 1997:

NOTE: Because of a pressing deadline in his real-world job, Phil's opportunities for adding material to the Web site will be extremely limited through the end of the year and into January. Unfortunately, regular weekly additions are out of the question during this time. Watch this space for periodic additions, though—and pray that Phil is able to finish the project he's working on.

These things have been added since the mid-November update:

Also, I have added a sermon or two:

FOR THE WEEK ENDING 11 October 1997:

Greetings! Phil returned Wednesday from two weeks of fruitful but restful ministry in Italy, with thirty-four sermons newly formatted for The Spurgeon Archive. All these sermons were contributed by two particularly faithful friends, who have both been very patient while waiting to see these sermons formatted and on line:

BONUS! Be sure to read about Phil's latest adventure in quest of the world's weirdest foods.

===============

FOR THE 2 WEEKS ENDING 4 October 1997:

NOTE: Phil will be in Italy ministering at a conference (in Sicily) for these two weeks. As usual, he is taking a couple of Spurgeon volumes and a laptop. He is scheduled to return October 8 and will attempt to add several sermons to The Spurgeon Archive by October 11.

Added seven sermons to The Spurgeon Archive:

===============

FOR THE TWO WEEKS ENDING 13 September 1997:

A NOTE FROM PHIL: I apologize for the delay in getting more material on line. I am still trying to dig out from under a pile of overdue work at the office. I hope to resume posting material next week. For those who have inquired about my recovery, however, I am happy to report that I am doing fine. Although I have not added anything to The Spurgeon Archive this week, I have been checking and pruning my bookmarks.

===============

FOR THE WEEK ENDING 31 August 1997:

Added two sermons to The Spurgeon Archive:

===============

FOR THE WEEK ENDING 23 August 1997:

Greetings! Phil is finally back from his long journey to India and fully recovered from his subsequent health problems. As promised, he took a laptop along with him to India and formatted as many sermons as possible for The Spurgeon Archive. Here, at long last, they are:

NOTE: Phil will be in India on a short-term missions project during these weeks. Nothing will be added to the site until Phil returns. I've accumulated quite a list of titles, and unfortunately have lost some of my records of who submitted them. Thanks to all for their patience.
